Abstract Dissecting cellulitis of the scalp (DCS) is characterized by recurrent pustules and sinus tract formation leading to scarring alopecia. We report three patients with dissecting cellulitis of the scalp. Prolonged treatment with oral isotretinoin was highly effective in all three patients. Furthermore, long-term post-treatment follow-up in two of the patients has shown a sustained therapeutic benefit.
